Microdata
This, as with all other things on this wiki, is a work in progress.
HTML5 contains microdata, a mechanism for marking up extractable data within HTML. As such, it relates to microformats, RDFa, and other mechanisms for marking up structured data in HTML and HTML-like things.
I blogged about microdata in Microdata, Microformats, and RDF, and wrote an email to public-html about them.
